This policy describes how the Baller DJ mobile app (“the App”) handles information. The App is published by SIIMBL.

Information we store on your device

Lineups, teams, player details, song choices, and settings are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data stays on your phone unless you choose to use optional features that contact a server you configure.

Camera and photos

If you use lineup scanning, the App may access the camera or your photo library to capture or select a lineup card image. Images are used only to read player names and numbers for your lineup. You can deny these permissions and still use the App by entering lineups manually.

Optional companion server

Some features (lineup photo parsing and premium announcer voice clips) work only if you set a server URL in Settings. If configured, the App may send lineup photos or short text prompts to that server so it can return parsed lineup data or audio. That server is operated under your control (or by SIIMBL if we host it for you). Do not point the App at a server you do not trust.

Music services

Song search and playback may use Apple Music preview links and, if you provide your own key, the YouTube Data API / embedded YouTube player. Those services are governed by Apple’s and Google’s / YouTube’s terms and privacy policies. The App does not receive your Apple Music or YouTube account password.

Analytics and advertising

The App does not include third-party advertising SDKs. We do not sell your personal information.

Children

The App is intended for coaches and dugout helpers. It is not directed at children under 13. Do not submit personal information about children beyond what you choose to keep in a local lineup (such as a first name and jersey number).

Data retention and deletion

Local data remains until you delete teams/players in the App or remove the App from your device. Optional server-side processing retains data only as needed to fulfill the request, unless a hosted service you use states otherwise.
